Balumama Farmers Producer Company Limited

Over here in Narnali, a few of us got together to form Balumama Farmers Producer Company Limited. We are based out of Ganpat Govind Gabale’s house, which is number 358. Kandhar is the main town nearby, and that is where we often head for supplies. This whole thing started because we wanted to have a better way to sell what we grow without having to rely on so many middle people. It’s a direct way of doing things. We named it after Balumama because that name means a lot to the people in this part of Nanded. We are just simple farmers who spend most of our lives outdoors. The company is just a way for us to stay organized. Sometimes the paperwork gets a bit confusing for us, but Ganpat helps keep it all in one place. We don't have a receptionist or a big lobby, just a table and some chairs where we plan out the next season. It’s hard work and the sun is hot, but having this group makes it feel a bit more manageable. We just want to make sure our families are taken care of and the crops get to where they need to go.
