Yuvashree Agro Producer Company Limited is based out of Nanded district. You can find us at Digambar Nagojipardi’s place. It’s a local setup for local people. We aren't some big city firm with a bunch of staff. Most of us here are just farmers from the Nanded area who decided it was time to join forces. The name Yuvashree reflects our hope for the future but we are very much grounded in the daily work of the present. We spend our time checking on crops and meeting at Digambar’s to figure out our next moves. It’s not a formal office with air conditioning and desks. It’s usually just us sitting around talking about what needs to happen on the farm this week. Nanded has its own way of doing things and we fit right into that. We don't have any fancy brochures or polished speeches. We just know the land and we know the hard work it takes to get anything out of it. Some seasons are better than others and we just roll with it. Being part of this producer company helps us stay in touch and share the load a little bit. We are just regular folks who wanted to have a bit more say in how our products are handled. It’s about being practical and helping each other out in the community where we live and work every day. It feels good to have a group to lean on.
