Suryodayaagro Farmers Producer Companylimited is based in a small place called Izali in the Mudkhed area of Nanded. You can find us through Prabhu Nagorao Mungal, who has been part of this since the start. The name means sunrise, which I guess sounds a bit poetic, but the work we do is anything but that. It’s mostly about dealing with the day-to-day grind of farming. We have a lot of members from the local villages around here. In Nanded, we have our own way of doing things, and we try to stick to that. We aren't into big fancy speeches or complicated business plans. We just want to make sure that when we grow something, we can actually get it to a place where people will buy it for a decent price. The office at Izali is pretty quiet most of the time, except when we’re all there to sign papers or argue about the price of seeds. We’ve had some tough years with the weather, but that’s just part of life here. Everyone knows everyone else, so there’s a lot of trust, even if we don’t always agree on everything. We’re just a bunch of regular people trying to keep our farms going and help our neighbors do the same. It’s a simple life, and we like it that way. We aren't trying to impress anyone, just doing our jobs.
