Hottal Farmer Producer Company Limited is based right here in Hottal village, Degloor. Our address is House Number 262. Nanded is where we all belong, and we take pride in the land we have here. We started this because the market was getting harder to navigate on our own. It’s not a big corporate entity with a lot of staff. Most of us are just neighbors who have known each other for years. We meet up at the house to figure out the best way to move our produce. Sometimes we sit out front and just talk about the rains or the price of fuel. It’s a very practical way of doing things. We don’t use any marketing tricks or fancy talk. We just want to make sure that the people growing the food actually get a bit of money for it. The company is a way for us to stick together. Living in a place like Degloor, you learn quickly that you have to be self-reliant. We handle our own supplies and try to help each other when someone’s tractor breaks down or a crop fails. It’s a community effort more than a business. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles, just a solid group of people who know how to work hard. That's the way we have always done things in Nanded. We aren't looking for fame, just a way to keep our farms and families going through the years.
