Tirupati Shahapur Farmer Producercompany Limited

We're based out of Shahapur in the Degloor area. My house number is 574/1, and that’s basically where the office is for Tirupati Shahapur Farmer Producercompany Limited. Most of us here are just regular farmers trying to figure things out together. It started because a few neighbors thought we should pool our resources instead of everyone doing things alone. It's not always easy keeping everything organized when everyone is busy in the fields during the peak season. We handle a lot of the local crops grown around this part of Maharashtra. Sometimes the rain doesn't come on time or the wind is too strong, but we just keep going anyway. It’s a group effort every single day. We don't have a big fancy office building with glass windows or anything like that. Just a small room where we sit and talk about seeds, fertilizers, and where to sell the harvest this year. Mostly we just want to make sure the families in Shahapur get a fair deal for their sweat and labor. It’s hard work being out in the sun all day, so having this company helps us stay connected and share the load. We aren't trying to be some giant corporation that nobody knows. We just know the soil and the land around here. Sometimes we get together on the porch after work and just talk about how the crops are looking. There are always government papers to sign and stuff to track, which takes a lot of time. We try to help each other when the harvest finally comes. It’s just how things are done here in our village. We’ve lived here our whole lives and know every corner of these fields. That’s really all there is to it.
