Shiv Govind Agro Producer Company Limited

We are situated in Banegaon, which is in the Ghansawangi area of the Jalna district. The address is just a house number, D-10219, but it serves as the main hub for everything we do. Out here, the landscape is mostly flat and full of crops like cotton or grain depending on the time of year. We started this company to help the local people organize their agricultural work better. The building is quite basic and doesn't have much in the way of decoration. We have a few desks where we sit and go over the accounts. Most of our time is spent outside or in the storage area checking on the bags. It can get very dusty when the trucks pull in to pick up the produce. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone like that. It’s just us doing the paperwork and making sure the farmers get paid correctly. The heat in Jalna can be really tough in the summer months, so we try to get most of the heavy lifting done early in the morning. We talk a lot about the soil and the prices at the market over in the bigger towns. It’s a practical way to spend the day. We aren't doing anything revolutionary. We are just a group of people in Banegaon trying to work together to keep the farming business moving along.
