Pawade Farmers Producer Company Limited

Pawade Farmers Producer Company Limited is run right out of Puyani in the Nanded district. We are located near the Hanuman Mandir, at House Number 81. This is actually the home of Madhav Ganeshrao Pawade, who looks after a lot of the business side of things for us. It is a real local operation. We do not have a dedicated office building; we just use the space we have. Most of the farmers in the company live nearby, so it is easy to gather at the house or near the temple to discuss our plans. Nanded is a good region for what we do, but it takes a lot of effort to keep everything organized. We are not some big city company. We are just a group of farmers trying to help each other out. Sometimes we sit on the porch and talk for hours about the rain or the soil quality. We handle the collection of crops and see who needs what supplies for the next planting. It is very informal, but we get the job done. The address is basically just where the paperwork lives. The real work is out in the fields around Puyani. We decided to form this company because we wanted to have a better way to manage our harvests. It is not always easy, but having a central place like Madhav’s house makes it a lot simpler to keep track of things.
