We aren't hard to find if you’re in the neighborhood. This company is a collective effort from the farmers around here who wanted to have a bit more control over their own work. Bhokar is a quiet place for the most part, but the work in the fields never really stops. We don’t have a lot of fancy equipment in the office, just the basics to keep the company legal and moving forward. Most of the real work happens outside or at the collection points. It’s a very local thing. We know the families involved and we know the land. We aren't looking to become some massive brand that forgets where it started. We just want to make sure that when we have a good harvest, we have a way to sell it properly. The address in Rahati is where we meet up to discuss the prices or the next planting season. It’s a bit informal compared to those big city companies, but it works for us. We deal with the daily grind of agriculture in Maharashtra, and we do it together as a group. That’s really all there is to it.
