Nandigram Nanded Vegetable Farmer Producer Company Limited

We are over in the village of Narnali, in the Kandhar area of Nanded. You can find us at house number 120. We are a group of vegetable farmers who thought it would be better to work together than to try and do everything alone. Growing vegetables is a lot of work because you have to be so fast with the harvest before things start to wilt in the heat. We don't have a big fancy office. We usually just gather at the house in the evenings to talk about which market in Nanded is paying better for tomatoes or green chillies. It’s a very local thing. All of us grew up in these fields. We aren't experts in business; we just know how to grow things. Sometimes we have trouble with the transport because the roads out of Narnali aren't always in the best shape. We just do the best we can with what we have. It’s a lot of manual labor and our backs usually hurt by the end of the week. We don't have a website or any promotional stuff. We just want to make sure our families get a fair price for all the sweat we put into the soil. We are just simple people from the village trying to run our own company.
