Harit Saundarya Farmer Producer Company Limited is over at House Number A-98 on Devalgaon Road. Specifically, we are in the Shrikrushna Rukmininagar area. It’s a busy spot but we try to keep things organized. A few of us got together to form this company because we wanted to see our local fields stay productive. The name sounds a bit poetic, but the work is mostly just sweat and dirt. We spend our time checking on crops and talking to other growers in the neighborhood. Our office isn't much to look at. It has a desk, some chairs, and a lot of dust from the road. We don't have a staff of people in suits. It’s just us in our regular clothes, trying to figure out the best way to move our harvests. Devalgaon Road can get pretty crowded, but we like being right here where everything happens. We are just trying to make sure the farming we do actually pays off for our families. It isn't a glamorous job and the hours are long. Some days are harder than others when the prices drop or the pests get into the crops. We just take it one day at a time. If you pass by Rukmininagar, you’ll probably see us outside talking about the next harvest. It's just a normal group of farmers doing what we can.
