Hanmant Bapurao Farmer Producer Company Limited is located in Kamjalaga, which is a small place in Mukhed within the Nanded district. We named it after someone local because we wanted to keep that connection to our roots. Our work is all about the local farmers around here who are trying to make a living off their land. It’s a quiet area mostly, but during harvest time, things get pretty frantic. We don’t have a big staff, just a few local guys who know everyone in the village. We sit in our office in Kamjalaga and try to coordinate everything from buying supplies to figuring out where the harvest should go. It’s a lot of phone calls and sometimes a bit of confusion when things change at the last minute. We don't use any fancy language or try to act like we are bigger than we are. We are just a group of people from Nanded trying to keep our farming business going. Sometimes the power goes out or the rain stays away too long, and we just have to deal with it. People stop by the office to talk about their fields or ask about the latest news from the market. It’s a very hands-on job and we are usually covered in dust by the end of the day. That’s just how life is here in the village. We just keep our heads down and do the work.
