Our company, Goda-Manyad Farmer Producer Company Limited, is located at house number 790 in Kalambar Bk. That is in the Loha taluka of Nanded. It is a pretty rural spot, away from the big city noise. We have got a lot of history in this part of Maharashtra. Most of the people involved here are farmers themselves. We decided to group together to handle our business better. Life in Nanded revolves around the seasons. When it is time to plant, everyone is busy. When it is time to harvest, we are all at the warehouse or in the fields. It is not a glamorous job, and the sun can be really harsh in the summer months. Our office is basically just a room where we keep our books and meet to discuss prices. We focus on what grows well here in our local soil. We are not using big marketing teams or anything. It is just us, the locals, trying to get a decent return on our hard work. Sometimes the market prices are frustrating, but that is just how it goes in agriculture. We know the land here in Loha like the back of our hands. We are not interested in sounding fancy or corporate. We just want to keep things running smoothly for the members of our producer company. It is a lot of sweat and patience but we manage to get by.
