Babhulgaonkar Mitra Farmers Producer Company Limited is situated at Gat Number 137 in Babhulgaon. This is in the Phulambri taluka, not far from the main road. The name "Mitra" means friends, and that is really how we started. A group of friends from the village decided to stop working separately and come together. We use Raghunath Dada Aange’s place as our main hub. It is right there on the farm at Babhulgaon, so you are always surrounded by the crops while we talk business. Phulambri is a busy farming area, and there is always something needing attention, like a new pest or a late monsoon. Our "About Us" is pretty simple because we are just local guys. We don't have a big headquarters or a website with lots of pictures. We just have our land and our company registration papers. Most days are spent checking on the progress of the fields and talking to other farmers about what they need. Raghunath Dada gives us good advice because he has been farming for decades. We try to help each other out with seeds or when someone’s tractor breaks down. It is a very informal way of running a company, but it works for us. We don't use corporate jargon or big promises. We just speak the way people do here in the village. We want to make sure the work we do at Gat 137 helps everyone in our small circle stay afloat during the hard times and the good ones too.
