Sagar Cement

Sagar Cement is based out in Nalgonda, specifically in the Mattampally area. Our office is run by Y Karnakar Reddy, who took over after his father, the late Venkat Reddy. It’s a real local operation here in Andhra Pradesh. We are right there at the Sagar Cements Ltd site in Mattampally. If you come out this way, you'll see a lot of dust and a lot of trucks because that is just the nature of the cement business. We don't have a fancy corporate office with air conditioning in every room. It’s more of a place where we wear boots and don’t mind getting our hands dirty. We’ve been part of this community for a long time. People around Nalgonda know the name. We focus on getting the cement out to the sites where it’s needed. The work is repetitive but it’s important. We don’t have a marketing department to tell us what to say. We just tell people we have cement and we’re here in Mattampally. Sometimes the power goes out or the rains make the roads messy, but we just keep going. It’s a family-connected business and we treat it like that. There’s no need for big words or polished stories. We are just a group of people working at a cement plant in a small town. We don't need fancy flyers to tell people we are here. We just show up and get the job done every single day regardless of the weather.
