Sri Rajyalaxmi Cement Products is a local operation out here in Nallabanda Gudem. You can find us at Sy No 562. It’s a quiet area compared to the big city, which we actually prefer. We spend our time making different cement items, mostly things people need for local building projects. The yard is usually full of drying products and we have to watch the weather closely. If it looks like rain, we have to move fast. It’s just a few of us working here. We don’t have a big marketing department or anything like that. Word of mouth usually brings people to our gate. We’ve been at this for a while and we know the routine by heart now. Some mornings are cold and the cement takes longer to set, so we just grab a tea and wait. It isn't a fast-paced life, but it's steady work. We try to be fair with everyone who comes by. The paperwork is mostly handled by my nephew in the small cabin near the entrance. He’s better with the numbers than I am. We just want to keep the machines running and the supplies moving out to the sites. It’s a practical business for practical people. If you’re driving through Nallabanda Gudem, you’ll probably see our sign near the road. We don't have much else to say, just that we’re here doing the work every day. We hope to stay here for a long time to come.
