We are based at Sithapuram Works, specifically at 5 23 in Dondapadu Mellacheruvu. Being out here right near the works means we’re always close to the dust and the heavy machinery. It’s a big site with a lot of movement. Most of us have been working here long enough that we know every corner of the place. The office isn't anything like what you’d see in a big city center. It’s more of a functional space with metal desks and some old chairs that have been here for years. We spend a lot of time on the phone or talking to the drivers who come in. The weather out here gets really hot, so the cooler is always running in the corner and makes a bit of a hum. Sometimes it gets a bit loud when the heavy equipment is operating nearby, but we’re used to it. We just focus on getting the loads ready and keeping the schedules moving. It’s a lot of manual tracking and checking off numbers on clipboards. People come and go throughout the day. It’s a hard-working environment, and we don't have time for anything that isn't necessary. We don't put on any airs. If you visit, you’ll see we’re just regular people doing a job. The Sithapuram area is quiet outside of the works, which is nice when the shift ends. It's a plain life but it keeps us busy and out of any trouble.
