Uttarakhand Tourista

We are located on the Mall Road here in Nainital. This is where most of the life of the town is, right by the lake. Being on the Mall Road means we are right in the middle of everything. We have been doing this for a while, mostly helping people who want to see more of Uttarakhand than just the main town. There are so many small villages and hidden spots in these hills that people often miss. We spend a lot of our day sitting in the office, talking to travelers and trying to work out the best routes for them. The traffic on Mall Road can be quite something during the peak months, so we are always checking the local news about road closures or diversions. It is a small office, nothing too fancy, but it serves us well. We keep a lot of maps and notes around to help explain things. We aren't interested in being a big corporate business. We just like the work and being able to stay in the mountains. Every day is a bit different depending on who walks through the door. Sometimes it is someone looking for a quick ride, other times it is a family wanting to go deep into the hills for a week. We just take it as it comes and do our best to help them out. It keeps us busy and we like the interaction with different people.
