If you’re walking down through Subhash Nagar, you might see our small sign for King Trip.In. We’ve been here in Kohil Garden for a while now, specifically at 3/114-A. It’s a quiet enough spot in Bhotia Parao, which is nice when the rest of Haldwani gets noisy. Usually, someone is here by nine in the morning, unlocking the door and getting things ready for the day. We don’t have a massive team or anything fancy like that. It’s mostly just a few desks and some chairs where we sit and figure out travel plans for folks who drop by. Sometimes the neighbors come in just to say hello or ask about the weather in the hills. We keep a stack of maps and some old registers on the shelf that have been there forever. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it feels like home to us. When the tea man comes around, that’s when we usually take a break. Working in Subhash Nagar is alright because most people know each other around here. We handle the bookings and try to make sure everything is written down correctly so there aren't any mix-ups later. It gets a bit busy during the holiday season, but for the most part, we just take things one day at a time. If you’re ever near Bhotia Parao, you’ll see our place easily enough once you get into the garden area. We’re just a regular part of the neighborhood here.
