Gugnun Travels

You can find Gugnun Travels at Shop No-21 in Bhimtal. We are situated right in front of Nida Garments, which is a big shop everyone knows in this area. Bhimtal is a bit more relaxed than Nainital, and we like the slower pace here. Our shop is small and we have a lot of stuff tucked into the corners. We spend our days talking to people who want to see the lakes or go further up into the mountains. It is a family-run kind of thing. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us who take turns being in the shop. Most of our furniture is old but comfortable enough for a long day. We sit there watching the traffic go by while we wait for the phone to ring. We deal with all kinds of travel requests, from local car hires to longer trips. It is a lot of writing things down and making sure the drivers know where to go. Sometimes we get tourists who are just lost and need directions, and we help them out too. The view of the lake isn't far from our door, which is a nice perk of working in Bhimtal. We have been in Shop 21 for several years now. It is a steady business and we know most of our neighbors. We just keep things moving and try to stay organized despite the small space we work in.
