Vikas Metals

We are based at Shop No-2 in the M.T.H. Compound. It is right near the Central Kothwali area, which is a very old and busy part of the city. Vikas Metals has been around here for quite a few years. The compound itself is full of different shops and traders, so it is always loud with people talking and trucks loading up. We deal in different kinds of scrap and metal pieces. It is a messy business, but someone has to do it. Our shop isn't very large, so we have to be careful about how we stack things so there is room to walk. We get all kinds of people coming in, from big contractors to locals looking for a specific bit of metal. The heat in the summer can be tough inside the compound, but we have a couple of fans that keep the air moving. We aren't a big corporation with a board of directors. It is just a family-run thing mostly. We know the other shop owners around here well. If you are looking for us, just head toward the Kothwali and ask for the metal shop in the compound. We don't have a fancy sign, just a basic one above the door. It is honest work and it keeps us busy from morning to night. Most of our days are spent weighing metal and organizing the back of the shop.
