Shalimar Steel

We've been at Workshop No. 33 in Pritam Complex for quite some time now. Bagad Ganj is a busy area, especially this small factory section where we are. Dealing with steel isn't always easy work. It's loud and dusty in here most days. We mostly focus on getting the cuts and the welding right for whatever comes through the door. It’s just a regular shop floor. Some days we have more help, other days it's just a few of us trying to get the orders sorted. People around here know where to find us. We don't have a fancy office or anything like that. Just the tools and the materials we need. Sometimes the machinery acts up, but we manage. If you walk past the complex, you’ll probably hear the grinders going. We just try to keep things moving. Most of the steel we handle is for local projects. It’s practical stuff. We don't do much talking, mostly just getting on with the tasks. It’s been our routine for years. The floor gets cluttered with scraps sometimes, but we clean up when we can. We're just a small part of this factory area. You learn a lot about how things are built when you work with your hands every day. It’s decent work. We try to be fair with the timing, even when things get backed up. That's just how it goes at Shalimar Steel. We stay busy and keep the gates open for business.
