Vijay Steel Center

Our shop is 151/D, situated right on the Main Road in Madhav Nagar. If you happen to know where the Durga Prashad Hotel is, we’re just a short walk away from their front entrance. We sell various steel items, mostly things needed for home repairs or by small local builders. The shop is usually full of metal pipes and heavy sheets, so it can get a bit noisy when we have to cut things down to size for a customer. It’s a family-run place through and through. My father started this business years ago and now we all help out to keep it running. The main road outside is always busy with cars and rickshaws, so loading heavy steel onto trucks can be a bit of a headache sometimes. We don't do any flashy marketing or put up big posters. Most people find us because they're staying nearby or they've lived in Madhav Nagar for their whole lives and know the spot. We keep the place open from the morning until pretty late in the evening. Sometimes it gets quite hot inside with all that metal sitting around, but we have a couple of old fans that do the trick well enough. We just try to be honest with people about what we have in stock at the moment. If we don’t have a specific size, we’ll tell you. It's just a regular steel center doing its daily work.
