Taparia Pipe Centre

Our shop, Taparia Pipe Centre, is situated at Plot No. 2 in the Saras Apartment building. This is right in the MIDC Industrial Area of Ayodhya Nagar, so it is a very busy part of town with a lot of trucks and workers moving around all day. We mostly deal with PVC pipes, metal fittings, and all the bits and pieces that plumbers need for their jobs. The ground floor of the apartment is where we keep the lighter stuff, while the heavier pipes are stored out back where it's easier to load them onto the tempos. It’s a very practical space and we don’t spend much on decorations because pipes take up a lot of room. Working in an industrial area means there is always a bit of smoke and noise in the air, but you get used to it after a few months. We start quite early in the morning because that’s when the contractors like to pick up their supplies before heading to their sites. It’s just me and a couple of helpers who do the heavy lifting and keep track of the inventory. We have a small table for tea and we often share a cup with the regular customers who’ve been buying from us since we opened. There’s no fancy computer system here, just some big ledgers where we write everything down by hand. It works fine for us and our customers seem to prefer it that way too.
