Siddhivinayak Steels is right on Station Road in Shankar Nagar. Being so close to the station means we hear the trains all day and night. It’s a very busy part of town, and there’s always someone stopping by to ask for directions or just looking around. Our shop is filled with all kinds of steel rods and pipes, which we keep stacked as neatly as possible, though it often ends up a bit messy by the afternoon. We don’t have a lot of space, so we have to be careful about how we move things around so we don't block the pavement. The noise from the station and the traffic can be quite a lot, but you get used to it after a week or two. We start our mornings early, usually by sweeping out the dust from the night before and checking what needs to go out that day. It’s a simple setup with an old table and a few chairs for when someone wants to sit and talk business. We don't use any high-tech systems, just some notebooks and our own experience with the metal. Most of our regulars are local builders or small shop owners from around Shankar Nagar. It’s a straightforward business without any hidden extras or polished sales pitches. We just sell steel and try to keep things moving as smoothly as the station road allows. It’s a bit loud and dusty, but it’s our daily life here.
