Satyam Fabrication

If you walk through Gayatri Nagar, you’ll find our shop at number 110. We are quite close to Hazrat Nizamuddin Colony. It is a busy neighborhood with a lot of houses and small shops squeezed together. Satyam Fabrication is just one of those places. We have a small storefront where we keep some of the finished frames and pieces. The back part is where all the actual work happens. It’s a bit cramped, and you have to watch where you step because of the scraps on the floor. We do a lot of welding and cutting here. The bright blue light from the torch is a common sight if you peek inside. We don't have any air conditioning, so we keep the doors wide open even when it’s raining. Sometimes the neighbors come by to chat or ask if we can fix a small hinge for them. It’s a local kind of life. We start early before the sun gets too high because the metal gets hot to touch. Our tools are old but they still work fine for what we need. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know how to do. There is always a layer of dust on everything, no matter how much we sweep. We just keep our heads down and get the fabrication done day by day. It’s not about being the biggest shop, but just about doing the work that comes in. Satyam Fabrication is just a part of the local life here.
