Raja Ram Steel Industries Ltd. is located right in the N-4 MIDC Area on Hirgna Road. If you know the industrial zone, it's pretty easy to find us. Working in a steel place like this means dealing with heat and noise all day long. It isn't a quiet office job at all. We have different shifts running because the machines don't really stop much. The yard is usually full of raw materials and finished steel waiting to be moved out to wherever it is going next. It gets pretty greasy on the floor and the air smells like metal and oil most of the time. Most of us here live nearby or commute from the city. We spend most of the day wearing heavy boots and keeping an eye on the production lines. The Hirgna Road area gets really busy with trucks during the afternoons and it can be a bit of a headache getting in and out sometimes. We’ve got a small break area where we sit down for lunch, mostly just talking about the weather or whatever is going on in the neighborhood. The building itself has seen better days and the paint is peeling in spots, but the machinery inside is what matters for the work. We just focus on getting the steel out the door. It's a tough environment but we are used to it. We don't do much advertising, people just know we’re here in the MIDC.
