Pooja Febrication

Pooja Febrication is located on Plot No 200 along the Rajur Ganpati Lakadganj Road. We are pretty easy to spot because we are right near the Bsnl Office. You will probably hear the sound of welding or metal cutting before you see the sign. We do all sorts of iron and steel work here. It’s a dirty job, lots of sparks and metal shavings on the floor. We make gates, window grills, and sometimes frames for small sheds. Most of it is custom work based on what the customer wants for their house or shop. The plot is mostly open to the air, which helps with the heat from the torches. We have a couple of big machines that have been with us since we started. They are old but they still cut straight. There are three of us working here most days. It gets really hot in the summer, so we take long breaks in the shade. We don't have a fancy showroom. If you want to see what we do, you just look at what’s currently being built on the shop floor. People from the neighborhood bring us their broken chairs or gate hinges to fix too. We don't mind the small jobs. It’s a living and we like working with our hands. Lakadganj Road is always busy with trucks, so there is plenty of noise. We just put our masks on and get to work.
