Miniyar Steel & Cement

We are located at Plot No -195/26, which is right near the Jain Temple at Samrat Chowk. If you’ve been around this part of town, you know it gets quite crowded. Miniyar Steel & Cement is basically just a yard and a small office. It’s a lot of heavy work. We spend our days moving bags and checking the steel rods. The dust gets everywhere, on our clothes and in our hair, but that’s just part of the trade. We don't have a polished showroom with air conditioning. We just have a desk and some chairs where we sit with the customers. The Jain Temple is a great landmark because everyone knows it. You can hear the bells ringing in the morning and evening. It’s a nice sound to work to. Samrat Chowk is always full of activity, with trucks coming and going all the time. Sometimes the traffic makes it hard for the deliveries to get in, but we manage somehow. We aren't trying to be the biggest or anything like that. We just do our work and try to be fair with people. It’s an honest way to make a living. Most of us have been working here for years, so we know the routine inside out. We don’t have any fancy talk or marketing slogans. We just show the materials and let people decide. That’s how we’ve always done it at this address in the middle of all the bustle.
