We’re located on the first floor right above the Shree Ram Vijay Saw Mill. You can usually hear the sound of the saws running downstairs during the day. Being at Ambedker Chowk in Bakrawadi means there’s always something happening outside. It’s a bit of a dusty spot because of the wood and the traffic, but it suits what we do with profiles. We don't have a big lobby or a person waiting to open the door for you. You just come up the stairs and find us. The office is mostly filled with samples of metal and stacks of paper. We spend a lot of time talking to people about dimensions and weights. It’s not the kind of job where you wear a tie. Most of us are in boots and sturdy clothes because that’s what the work demands. Bakrawadi is a practical place, and we fit right in. We’ve been in this building for a while, and even though it’s an older spot, it works for us. The commute can be a bit of a pain when the chowk gets blocked up, but that’s just part of life here. We usually have a pot of tea going, and we spend our time making sure the orders for the profiles are moving along like they should. It’s plain work, no bells or whistles, just making sure the materials are ready for whoever needs them next. Sometimes the heat in the office gets to us, so we just open all the windows and hope for a breeze.
