Kiran Steel Industries

Kiran Steel Industries is located out at F-62 in the M.I.D.C. area. It is a big industrial district, so there are factories and sheds everywhere you look. We have been here for quite some time now. The steel business is tough work. It is hot and loud, especially in the summer months. We don't have a fancy office. Most of our time is spent on the shop floor or near the entrance where the trucks come in. The District can be a bit of a drive for some people, but it is where the work happens. We have a small crew here. We all know each other well. Some of us have been working here since the very start. We handle steel, mostly cutting it and moving things around to where they need to go. It isn't a clean job. Your clothes get dirty by ten in the morning. That’s just part of it. We don’t do much advertising. People usually find us through word of mouth or because they are also working in M.I.D.C. and saw our shed. We try to keep our machines running smoothly. When one breaks down, it’s a bad day for everyone. We eat our lunch together near the back where it’s a bit quieter. It is a simple life, working with metal all day. We are just a local industry trying to keep things steady and keep moving forward.
