We are over at Shahid Chowk in Nagpur, right inside the Pushplaxmi Building. If you know the Itwari area, you know it gets pretty busy around here. House number 980 is where we handle things for Kalyani Carpenter Special Steels Ltd. Most days, it’s just us keeping track of orders and making sure the steel gets where it needs to go. The neighborhood has that old Nagpur feel, lots of shops and people moving about all the time. It can get loud outside with the traffic near the chowk, but we’re used to it by now. We’ve been at this spot for a while, just doing the work that comes in. There’s no fancy lobby or anything like that, just a workspace where we get the job done. Sometimes the heat in Nagpur makes the afternoons a bit slow, but the work doesn't stop. People stop by to ask about different types of special steels, and we just tell them what we have or what's coming in on the next truck. It’s a straightforward setup. We don't spend much time on big meetings or long emails. Most of our day is spent looking at lists, talking to drivers, and checking the inventory. It’s practical work. We’ve got our routine down, from the morning tea to closing up the shutters at the end of the day. It’s just how we run things here in Nagpur.
