Our spot is right behind the Itwari City Post Office in Nagpur. If you know that area, you know it stays pretty crowded with people sending parcels and mail all day long. We have been operating from here for a while now. It’s not the easiest place to park a big truck, but we make it work somehow. The building is older and has that specific smell of paper and old walls. We don’t have fancy signs or bright lights. Most of our day is spent dealing with the local trade and making sure the steel figures match up at the end of the week. Nagpur gets incredibly hot, so we usually have the coolers running full blast from March until the rains come. It can get loud with the traffic outside, but you stop noticing it after the first hour. We just focus on the task at hand. There’s no big philosophy here; we just handle the steel business as it comes. Sometimes the mailman drops by with stuff for the other businesses and we end up chatting for a bit. It’s a very local way of doing things. We have stacks of files that probably need sorting, but we always seem to find what we need eventually. People know where to find us if they need anything related to the corporation. We just keep our heads down and get through the pile of work on the desk.
