We are based over in Nagpur at Plot No. 6, Milind Nagar. It’s in the Khamla area, right near Somalwar School. If you’re looking for us, that school is the best landmark to use. Gupta Metallics & Power Ltd has been part of this neighborhood for a while. Dealing with metals and power is a heavy business. There’s always something needing repair or someone looking for a specific type of material. The yard can get quite messy, but there’s a system to it all, even if it doesn’t look like it to an outsider. We have a lot of trucks coming and going, which keeps things lively. Nagpur gets incredibly hot in the summer, and that makes the work even tougher, but we’re used to it by now. We aren't some massive corporation with a hundred layers of management. If you need to talk to someone, you just walk in. We deal with the day-to-day grind of the industry. Sometimes we’re short-staffed, or a delivery gets delayed, and we just have to figure it out on the fly. It’s practical work for practical people. We don’t put on airs. We just want to make sure the power keeps running and the metal gets where it’s supposed to go. It’s what we know how to do, and we’ve been doing it a long time now. The office is usually busy with people shouting over the noise, but we get it done.
