Down at G-5 in the Midc Area on Hingna Wadi Road, you’ll find Eros Metal Works. It’s a proper factory setting, nothing like those clean office buildings you see in the city center. We spend our days working with metal, so there is always a bit of dust and the sound of heavy machines running in the background. The Midc Area is full of businesses like ours, but we’ve carved out our own space here over the years. We take in raw materials and turn them into whatever the current project requires. It’s heavy work, and it can get pretty hot in the summer months when the machines are all running at once. Most of the staff here have grease on their hands by lunch time. We aren't really the type for long meetings or fancy presentations; we’d rather just look at the drawings and start cutting or welding. The location on Hingna Wadi Road makes it easy for trucks to get in and out, which is good because we’re always loading or unloading something. It’s a practical place for practical work. We’ve had the same crew for a long time, so we all know the rhythm of the shop. Sometimes things break down and we have to fix the machines ourselves, but that’s just part of the daily routine. We just keep our heads down and stay busy with the metalwork. It's noisy and messy, but that's how things get made around here.
