Asian Streck Metals

Our place is tucked away in the Nagpur Industrial Estate, right there at units 35 and 36. If you’ve ever been down Kamptee Road, you know the Uppalwadi area is always humming with activity. Asian Streck Metals isn't some corporate office with glass walls; it’s a real workshop where the floors are stained and the air smells like cut steel. We spend most of our hours handling different metals, making sure things are cut right and sized up properly. The Nagpur sun can be brutal in May, making the shed feel like an oven, but we keep the fans going and get on with it. Lunch is usually a quick affair, maybe some food from the nearby stalls or a dabba brought from home. We’ve seen the estate change over the years, shops closing and new ones opening, but we just stay focused on our own pile of work. It’s a straightforward job. There’s no big manual on how we talk to each other; we just yell over the machinery when something needs fixing. Most of us have been working together for a while, so we know each other's habits. It’s not always perfect, and sometimes a machine breaks down or a delivery is late because of the traffic on the main road, but that’s just how business goes here. We aren’t trying to change the world, just doing our bit with the metal we have on the floor.
