Aryaan Bricks

Down in Ghugus Village, things are pretty quiet except for the work we do at Aryaan Bricks. We are located near Satghugus Road in Chandrapur district. It’s a place where you get dirt under your fingernails every single day. We make bricks because that’s what people around here need for their construction. The earth is tough, and the sun is even tougher, but we keep the operations running. My brother and I started this because there wasn't much else to do in the village back then. Now we have a steady rhythm. Trucks come and go, taking loads to different parts of the tehsil. We don't have any fancy machines; it's mostly manual work and keeping an eye on the quality of the clay. You can see the smoke from our chimney from quite a distance. Sometimes the dust from the road gets into everything, but that’s part of the job in Chandrapur. We don't bother with fancy talk or marketing. If someone needs bricks, they come to Ghugus and find us. We usually sit outside under the neem tree when it's time for lunch. It’s a simple business. We deal with builders and regular farmers who just want to fix their sheds. We've been here long enough that we know most of the truck drivers by name. It’s a long day, starting before the sun is fully up, but it pays the bills and keeps us connected to the land. This is just our life.
