Vivitsa Global School

This school is right on 9th Cross in Kuvempunagar, which is a nice part of Mysore. We are at number 97, on Navilu Road. It’s a residential area, so we have to be careful about not making too much noise too early in the morning. The building fits right in with the houses around it. We have a small gate and a patch of ground where the kids play during their breaks. It feels more like a big house than a big institution, which is how we like it. The teachers are friendly and they often stay back to talk to each other after the students have left for the day. We deal with the usual things, like fixing a leaky tap or painting the walls when they get scuffed up. The Mysore weather helps keep the place feeling fresh, especially with all the trees on Navilu Road. We don’t have a massive budget for decorations, so we just use what we have. Most of our students come from the nearby streets, so we see the same faces every day. It’s a very local feel here. We focus on the daily lessons and making sure everyone gets their lunch on time. There is no corporate vibe at all. It’s just us, the staff, and the kids in a quiet corner of the city, trying to make the most of the space we have and keeping things simple for the families.
