Malnad English School

Malnad English School is located at No.375 on 3 Cross, in the 1st Stage of Rajivnagar. Most people living in this corner of Mysore know exactly where we are. It is a residential neighborhood, so things are mostly quiet, except for when the school bell rings. We see the same neighbors every single morning when we open the gates to let the students in. The school building has been a part of the 570019 area for a long time. We have a few floors with classrooms and a little bit of space for the kids to play during their lunch break. It is not a massive campus, but it is enough for what we do here. At Malnad English School, the day starts quite early with the sound of scooters and cars dropping off the children. We spend a lot of our time organizing the library books and making sure the classrooms are ready for the day. Mysore has a slow and steady pace of life, and we try to keep that same feeling inside the building. The structure is a bit old, but it is solid and has plenty of windows to let the air circulate. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just open the doors wider and keep going. It is a very local operation run by people who live nearby. We know the names of the parents and the siblings of our students. We do not have any big corporate plans, just the daily work of running a school.
