Mahaveer Vidya Mandir School

We are situated in the Lic Colony area of Srirampura 2Nd Stage in Mysore. The school is called Mahaveer Vidya Mandir School. Mysore is generally a pleasant place to be, and this specific neighborhood is quite settled and calm. You can find us at Mysore - 570023. The school day starts with the sun coming up over the trees in the colony. We have a mix of students from the surrounding houses. The building itself has several rooms for different grades. It is not a massive campus, but it is enough for the kids we have. We spend our time looking after the day-to-day needs of the school, like making sure the registers are updated and the playground is safe. The 2Nd Stage of Srirampura has grown a lot lately, but our corner remains pretty much the same. Most people in the Lic Colony recognize the school because of the noise during recess. We don’t use any fancy management techniques. We just open the gates in the morning and close them in the evening. There is a lot of paperwork involved in running a school in Mysore, so the office is always a bit cluttered with files. It is a very grounded place to work. We see the same parents every day and the kids grow up right in front of us. It is just a regular part of the local community here.
