Adhyayan School

Our school is right on Adishakthi Road in the Shakthi Nagar area of Mysore. It is a quiet residential neighborhood, which makes it a good, calm spot for a school like ours. The address for Adhyayan School is Number 2, so we are quite easy to find if you are driving down the main street near the temple. The building is a two-story structure with a small metal gate at the front. We have several classrooms where the kids spend most of their day learning. Mysore weather is usually quite pleasant, so we keep the windows open most of the time to let the breeze in. The teachers here are mostly local people who have lived in the city for a long time and understand the families here. They bring a lot of patience to their work every single day. We have a small staff room where we sit and plan the week’s lessons over some coffee or tea. The kids have their own little routines, from the morning assembly to the final bell in the afternoon. We do not have a massive sports field, but there is enough space in the yard for some games and morning exercises. The walls are painted in bright colors to make the place feel a bit more cheerful for the younger students. It is a very straightforward operation where we focus on the books and making sure the kids are learning.
