You’ll find us in Guddenahalli, which is near Koppa Post in the Periyapatna area of Mysore. It’s quite a long address, but the place is actually very simple. We are surrounded by a lot of greenery and open fields, which is nice compared to the dusty city streets. The air here feels a bit different, especially after it rains. Our school building is spread out, and we have a lot of outdoor space where the grass grows a bit too long if we don’t watch it. Most of the kids come from the nearby villages and Kushalnagar. We spend our days dealing with the usual stuff like missing chalk or leaky roofs during the monsoon. The staff room is a quiet place where we eat lunch and talk about the local crops or the weather. We don't have any high-tech gadgets or polished glass walls. Everything is made of stone and wood, and it’s built to last. The bus route is a long one, winding through the back roads to pick everyone up. We start early and finish when the sun is still high enough to see the way home. It’s a slow pace of life out here in Mysore district. We don’t bother with fancy marketing or big promises. We just keep the classrooms open and the playground ready. It’s a lot of manual work and long hours, but it’s what we do every day. It’s a quiet life in Guddenahalli, and we wouldn't have it any other way.
