Sri Swamy Vivekananda Vidya Mandir

We are over in the Vidyaranyapuram area of Mysore. The address is No 149 on the Kanakagiri Muneshwaranagar Road. It’s a residential part of town, so it is relatively quiet compared to the main city center. Mysore is a peaceful city anyway, and our neighborhood reflects that. The school is a basic building that fits right into the street. We have been here for some time now, and the local residents are used to the sound of the school bell and the kids playing. Our pin code is 570008. We don't have a huge playground or anything like that, just enough space for the kids to move around. The building has several floors, and we use every bit of it. Most of the teachers live nearby, so we all know each other pretty well. It’s a small-scale operation, really. We don't use fancy software for everything; we still do a lot of things on paper and by hand. The road outside can get a bit crowded when parents come to pick up their children, but otherwise, it’s a calm spot. We just focus on our daily classes and the local kids who come to us. There isn't any corporate polish here. It’s just a neighborhood school trying to do its part in Vidyaranyapuram. We don't make a big fuss about things, we just keep the doors open and the classrooms ready for whoever shows up each morning.
