Shri Balaji Granites

Over at Plot No. 6P-1 in the Thandya Industrial Area, that is where we do our work. It is part of the Chikkaiahanachatra Hobali in Nanjanagud Taluk. Shri Balaji Granites is a place where things are always moving, mostly slabs of granite and the equipment needed to lift them. Nanjanagud is a busy area for this kind of thing, so we fit right into the landscape. We don't have any fancy brochures or big marketing plans. We just have our yard and the stone. The guys here start early in the morning before it gets too hot, especially since working in an industrial area like Thandya can get a bit stuffy. We handle the granite piece by piece. Sometimes the slabs are a bit irregular or have their own character, which is just how natural stone is. We don't try to hide that. Our address is easy to find if you know the Hobali, and we’ve been here long enough that most of the local drivers know where to turn. It is hard work and your hands get rough, but it is what we know. We just focus on getting the stone ready and making sure the trucks are loaded properly. It’s a simple life focused on the granite trade, and we don’t really see a need to change how we do things as long as the work keeps coming and the yard stays busy with the daily routine of moving these heavy pieces.
