A L Mighty Granites

Our place, A L Mighty Granites, is situated at No. 904/1 - F-40/1 on Jlb Road. It’s right near Apoorva in the Chamundipuram area of Bettadpura. If you come by, you’ll see slabs of stone leaning against the walls and stacked up in the yard. Granite is heavy stuff, so there is a lot of lifting and moving things around with the machinery. The air is often thick with dust from the cutting and polishing. We all wear old clothes because they get ruined pretty quickly here. It’s a bit of a trek to get out to this part of Bettadpura, but we’ve been here for a while. The sun beats down on the yard in the afternoon, making the stone quite hot to the touch. We have a small shed where we keep the tools and take our lunch breaks. It’s not a very quiet job, as you can imagine. There is always the sound of grinding or trucks pulling in to load up. We just handle the stone as it comes in and goes out. It is physical work and leaves you tired at the end of the shift. We don’t have any big advertisements or anything. Most people find us because they saw the sign on Jlb Road or heard about us from someone else. It is just a regular stone yard doing its thing every day.
