Meenakshi Stones

Meenakshi Stones is out here in the Thandya Industrial Area in Nanjangud. We’re pretty close to the South Indian Paper Mill, which is the main landmark most people use to find us. Being in an industrial zone means it's always noisy and there’s always something happening with the heavy machinery nearby. We deal mostly in various types of stone slabs. Our yard is usually full of trucks coming in from the quarries or leaving to deliver to building sites. It’s hard work, and we all have callouses on our hands from moving the materials. The air is often thick with the smell of stone dust, but you get used to it after a few years. We aren't the type of place where you’ll find people in suits. We wear work clothes and we’re usually covered in a bit of grime by noon. We keep the stone stacks as neat as possible, but it’s a constant battle with the sheer volume of material we move. Sometimes we have a specific type of granite that everyone wants, and other times we are waiting on the next batch to arrive. It’s just how the business goes. We don't make big promises, we just show you what’s on the ground right now. If you need stone for a project, you can come by and take a look at the current stock.
