Presentation Public School

Our school is tucked away in Rajivnagar, specifically at number 2097 in the 3rd Stage area of Mysore. It’s a residential neighborhood, so it stays relatively quiet compared to the main city center. The building is a simple two-story structure with a gate that we lock during school hours. Every morning, you see the yellow buses or the auto-rickshaws pulling up to drop the kids off. The playground isn't huge, but it's enough for the children to run around during their short breaks. Inside, the halls are narrow and the classrooms are packed with benches and desks. We have a small office where the head of the school sits, usually surrounded by stacks of textbooks and admission forms. The walls are painted a simple color, though they have some marks from kids leaning against them over the years. We don't have air conditioning, so we rely on the big windows and the ceiling fans to stay cool. The teachers are mostly people from the nearby areas of Mysore. We follow a regular routine of assembly, classes, and lunch. There is nothing fancy about the way we operate. It is just a neighborhood school where local families send their children. We’ve been here for a while and most people in Rajivnagar know where we are. It’s a plain, functional place where the focus is just on the daily lessons.
