Zohra Fashion

We've been here in Mumbai at Zohra Fashion for a while now. It’s always a bit busy around here with the traffic and people constantly moving. We spend most of our mornings just getting things ready, unpacking boxes, and making sure the racks aren't too messy. It’s a small place but we manage. People come in looking for something specific, sometimes they just want to browse. It gets hot in the afternoons, so we usually have the fan going full blast. We don't really do big advertisements or anything like that. Mostly it's just folks from the neighborhood or someone who heard about us from a friend. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the clothes pile up when a new shipment arrives from the local markets. My cousin helps out on weekends when it gets extra crowded. We’ve seen the city change a lot around us. New buildings going up, old shops closing down. But Zohra Fashion is still right here. We just focus on what we have on the hangers and making sure we can find the right size for whoever walks through the door. It isn't anything fancy, just a regular shop where we do our work every day. Sometimes we stay late to finish inventory, or just to chat with the shopkeepers next door. It’s just how it is living and working in Mumbai. Nothing too complicated about it. We just open up, do the work, and go home.
