Star Rainwear

Star Rainwear is found at 55 Sherrif Devji Street, specifically inside the Lucky Compound. We are out in the Vasai East area, near Chinchoti Naka and Kaman Road. If you've ever been to this part of the outskirts, you know it is mostly industrial sheds and small factories. Our place is one of those. We don't have a big corporate sign or a lobby with a receptionist. It is just a workshop where we manufacture raincoats and other waterproof gear. The building is a bit old, and the stairs are narrow, but it serves us well enough for what we do. Inside, there is the constant sound of sewing machines and the smell of industrial fabrics. We are quite busy during the months leading up to the monsoon because that is when everyone in Maharashtra needs rainwear. We have stacks of boxes piled up nearly to the ceiling sometimes. The staff is mostly local people who know how to handle the heavy-duty materials. We don’t do any fancy branding or big presentations. We just focus on making sure the seams are tight and the fabric is good. Sherrif Devji Street can be quite congested with delivery trucks, so we are used to the noise outside. It is a practical, no-frills business that has stayed in the same spot because it works. We just get the production done and move the stock out to the shops that need it.
