M. Ali Garment

M. Ali Garment is a small shop, number 4, in the Faizabadi Building. We are located at 59/61 on Dimitimkar Road. If you are looking for us, we are right near the Al-Madina Medical store. Nagpada is a very crowded place, but we like the bustle of it. There are always people walking past the shop. We deal with clothes and fabric every single day. The shop is filled with rolls of cloth and finished pieces. It’s a bit cramped, but we make it work. We’ve been in this building for quite some time now. Most of the people around here know us by name. We don’t have a website or anything like that. People just walk in or call us. The noise from the street is constant, with horns and people shouting, but it feels like home. We spend a lot of time at the sewing machines or cutting fabric on the big table. It’s hard work on the back and eyes, but it’s what we know how to do. Sometimes we sit outside on a stool when it’s quiet for a minute. Faizabadi Building is old, but it stays standing. We don't try to be fancy. We just make the garments and sell them to whoever needs them. That’s the way it’s been at M. Ali Garment for years. We just keep our heads down and keep the machines running through the day.
