Royal Vogue

You can find Royal Vogue at Room No 308 inside the building on Kk Krishnan Manan Marg. We are located in the Sai Baba Nagar area, which is right opposite the Himalaya Hotel on 90 Feet Road in Dharavi. It is a very lively part of town and there is always noise and people moving around outside our window. Our workspace is just this one room on the third floor. The stairs can be a bit much if you are carrying heavy bags of fabric, but we are used to it by now. We spend most of our time at the machines or cutting material on the big table. It is not a corporate office or a fancy boutique with glass windows. It’s just a practical place where we get the sewing and design work done. Sometimes the electricity cuts out for an hour, so we just take a break and sit by the door until it comes back on. Dharavi has its own rhythm and we have been part of it for a few years. We don't really bother with advertisements because most people find us just by walking past or hearing about us from a friend. We keep our heads down and focus on the clothes. The room gets a little cramped when we have a lot of orders piled up, but we prefer staying busy. It is just honest work in a crowded, busy neighborhood.
